Hello! My name is Ambyr Stewart, I am a fourth year student at the University of california Irvine. I just recently turned twenty-one years old, and in the picture above I'm with my boyfriend Ryan. A couple of cool things to note about me is that I work at a cool hamburger resurant, I love to enjoy life, and Im not afraid to have fun. All of that aside, I am currently looking forward to becoming a teacher after college, and am currently working hard to do so.
One thing that I really enjoy doing is spending time with family. I know more than anyone that family can get annoying and hard to handle, but at the end of the day they are always there for you. In the picture above I am in the middle sitting next to my brother. My brothers name is Austin, he plays waterpolo at the California State University of Long Beach. He and I always got along when we were growing up, mostly because we had the same sense of humor. My sister is the one pouting, she and I definatly did not get along growing up but we are totally fine now! She works as a teachers aid.
Another Interesting thing about me is that I played waterpolo for almost thirteen years. I started swimming when I was eight years old. But because my father played waterpolo when he was younger I naturally wanted to try it. Soon after I joined waterpolo I fell in love with the physicallity and uniquness of the sport. While throughout the thirteen years waterpolo brought me stress and struggles, It also brought me alot of amazing things. For one, I achieved a scholarship to go to UCI to play Waterpolo, and while I quit my third year due to an injury, it brought me so many friends that I wouldnt change the experience. Waterpolo also gave me all of my best friends that I have in my life today. The girls pictured above are my freshman dormmates and my roomates currently. I consider them my family now, all because of water polo. I also met my long time boyfriend through waterpolo at UCI. So if anything had a strong impact on my life its waterpolo. Below is a picture from when I played my second year of polo at UCI. It was such a fun season and the friends I made I will never forget.
